Program Description

Event Details

Second Saturday Shenanigans is a monthly program offering a place in our community where all kids can gather for a fun morning out.  Each month the program focuses on a new theme, topic, or series.

Getting tools into young hands early and often is the best way to develop DIY skills for kids. This event was inspired by a donation from Lowes. Before the kits are assembled, we will go over how to safely use the tools. We will then practice how to use various tools.  After the safety talk and demonstration, we will then use the instructions supplied to put together our Shoot the Moon Kits. Once all the games are completed, we will have a Shoot the Moon competition. Prizes will be awarded to our winners.
