The Anderson County Human Relations Council presents Nancy Basket, Native American storyteller and artist.

Honoring National American Indian Heritage Month, experience the talents of Nancy Basket, a renowned creator and artist gifted in storytelling; crafting sculptures, lampshades, and baskets made from kudzu; designing wall panels and folk-art pieces; and educating children and adults on the past and current historical value of Native Americans through storytelling.

Nancy Basket has served as an Artist-in-Residence with the SC Arts Commission and provides workshops to K-12 and university students. Nancy's works of art have been featured in movies, restaurants, events, and other locations across the United States.

The Anderson County Human Relations Council (HRC) seeks to improve human relations by building bridges and removing barriers among all races and ethnic groups represented throughout Anderson County. Email andersoncountyhumanrelation@gmail.com
