Event Details

Join us for an insightful and unique discussion on America's national pastime! Scott Busch, a local African-American baseball historian, will discuss Black baseball in the Carolinas. Famous Carolinians will be focused on, such as Larry Doby (the second man to break the baseball color barrier), Ben Taylor (Anderson native and National Baseball Hall of Famer), and other unknown Black stars of yesteryear. Also, hear about the Anderson natives that are referred to as the first family of Black baseball!
