Join Debra Jackson, PhD, Professor Emerita of Nursing and Public Health Sciences at Clemson University and Director of Clemson University Emeritus College, as she presents Taking Care of You: Self-Care for Family Caregivers.
Many people find themselves in a complex role of providing care for a family member, adding a new responsibility to their busy lives. Dr. Jackson will discuss techniques for managing all of your responsibilities, and finding time to take care of your personal well-being and health. We will touch on basic health and wellness strategies, respite care opportunities, and decision or action points. Dr. Jackson brings a unique focus to the topic as a nurse and wellness advocate, a caregiver for her parents, and a working mom and wife.
