Let's start at the beginning! Learn the basics of sewing in this introductory course, where you'll "meet" our sewing machines and learn how to use them.

This class will cover winding a bobbin, threading the machine, and basic tension. If time allows, students will able to test run taking scrap fabrics through to get a feel for the machine.

Space is extremely limited, so sign up early to ensure your spot! If it's full please sign up to go onto the waitlist so you can be bumped up for potential cancellations.

The library makes every effort to ensure our programs can be enjoyed by all. Please contact the library if you have any concerns about accessibility or need to inquire about specific accommodations.
